How TG4 dialed up growth, retention and marked a big birthday

TG4 wanted to win viewers with its exciting new content while celebrating its 25th anniversary. Our partnership created a multi-platform integrated media campaign driving awareness of their stellar programming and innovative services.

What did we do?

We partnered with TG4 to create excitement around their range of brilliant programming through a native content series along with contextual print advertising. The campaign played out across multiple touchpoints including a weekly entertainment native content series which focussed on TG4's wide range of content. We tailored the content to reflect users’ interests based on a series of questions asked within an interactive quiz. This was achieved using our Native Connect advertising solution. TG4 had complete ownership of the entertainment vertical on with takeovers running across the section throughout the campaign. We used contextual sponsorship of the TV listing section of Weekend Magazine (Irish Independent) and Sunday World + magazine on the print side.


The campaign exceeded client expectations and KPIs with 132,500 native views which outperformed target by 28%. the campaign also hit 100% of its target on display with 1.8million impressions.
