How Diageo found 40k+ candidate apprentices

International beverages company Diageo wanted to attract high potential candidates to its Apprenticeship Scheme. We partnered with Diageo and helped them position the company as an employer of choice for school leavers in Northern Ireland through a multimedia campaign in NIJobfinder.co.uk

What did we do?

Diageo has an attractive three-year paid Apprenticeship Scheme split between work and college in Belfast. Through NIJobfinder.co.uk we could help them reach 800k+ active and passive job seekers. The team developed a targeted multimedia campaign reaching 40k+ school leavers aged 16-18. We ran a display campaign alongside print ads in the nijobfinder supplement and carefully tailored native content helped bring the campaign narrative to life, supported by amplification on social. An employer spotlight on the homepage and a direct mail to 60k + registered job seekers further boosted the campaign's reach.

Results

The campaign exceeded objectives and client expectations delivering 100k + impressions, driving applications to the Apprenticeship Scheme and helped position Diageo as an employer of choice for Northern Ireland school leavers.
