INM Rebrands to Mediahuis
Independent News and Media Group Limited (INM), the leading newspaper and online publisher on the island of Ireland, will from 12 May 2021 launch its new corporate identity.
In July 2019, INM became part of the leading European publishing group Mediahuis, headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium. Since then, INM has undergone significant transformation and is increasingly integrated within the wider Mediahuis Group.
And so it’s time for us to change to reflect this. From 12 May INM will become Mediahuis.
At national and local level, our titles have charted the remarkable changes on this island for over 150 years, playing a role in – and leaving a mark on – our political, social and cultural evolution. Our titles have fuelled and followed the national conversation all that time. We are mindful of the role our titles play in society and in the proper functioning of a democracy. We are also mindful of the deep connection our readers feel with our titles. Therefore the change now will be that the Company which owns our titles will be called Mediahuis, but the titles themselves will not change, neither in name nor in their inherent nature.
The diversity of our brands is also at the heart of our commercial strength. For advertisers, the Mediahuis brand offers connection with technological platforms, high-performing systems, a strong team combined with a state-of-the-art digital advertising offering. And for our employees, both current and future, Mediahuis is a place which offers the opportunity to move throughout the organization, in an environment where we work together in an open and respectful way and where eagerness to learn and innovative thinking are stimulated.
Mediahuis’s strong commitment to quality independent journalism draws on the finest traditions of the past, while growing and developing our business for an exciting future. Our readers will remain at the heart of what we do – bringing them the journalism that will chart, and sometimes shape, the decades, and centuries, ahead.
